Chiloquin Learns After School (CLAS) is an after-school program of CVIP that has been serving students K-6 since 2004 with the goal of providing a safe, caring, and learning environment for all children. The program provides nutritious meals, physical exercise, time for homework and learning, and enriching activities such as art and science instruction, computer opportunities, and interactive games.
The Chiloquilters is a women's quilting group in Chiloquin that meets weekly at the Two Rivers Art Gallery to quilt and sew together. They enjoy working together on joint projects and helping each other with individual quilts. They host an annual fundraising quilt show at the Chiloquin Community Center in June.
The Chiloquin Community Builders support, develop, and implement collaborative community projects that connect our cultures, address community-wide priorities of safety, health, and economic well-being, and inspire our collective hope and pride in Chiloquin. Projects include improvements to Spring Creek, restoration to the HIRVI Building, supporting the Green Schoolyard project, and wildland fire initiatives.
The Two Rivers Art Gallery is one of our core programs, which supports local artists and suppliers, highlighting various paintings, photography, glass, bronze, jewelry, beadwork, pottery, and more. It features an Information Center with brochures visitors can use to find their way around the area. Its all-volunteer staff creates a friendly environment for all.
Our Community Center is the heart and soul of Chiloquin Visions in Progress. Celebrating its 20th year of operation in 2024, the Community Center is home to the Chiloquin Branch Library, our own Two Rivers Art Gallery, the CVIP office, and two spacious meeting rooms, the Community Room and Conference Room, which are both available for rental. We also have a professional-grade kitchen.
