CVIP Receives $5,000 Grant to Support Youth Bike Skills Week
Chiloquin Visions in Progress (CVIP) is excited to announce that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Cycle Oregon Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. This grant will support Bike Skills Week, a key component of CVIP’s new Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp (CTAC), scheduled to launch in the summer of 2025. Chiloquin Visions in Progress began working on a summer youth program in 2024 with multiple community partners, including Ninja Mountain Bike Performance, Klamath Outdoor Science School, and Oregon Tech.
This one-of-a-kind summer learning program is exclusively designed for middle and high school students in Chiloquin, Oregon. Our program is tailored to our youth's unique interests and requirements. We will offer diverse, captivating, and educational activities throughout the summer break to enhance students' out-of-school time. Our structured yet enjoyable learning experiences will nurture skills, creativity, and well-being, making us the ideal choice for Chiloquin youth’s summer enrichment. The program will span six weeks, with a different thematic focus each week to keep the learning experience fresh and engaging. Sessions are held five days a week, from Monday to Friday, with each day's activities scheduled from 9 am to 3 pm.
