Applications for Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant
The Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant, offered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD), is available to organizations participating in the Oregon Main Street Network, such as Chiloquin Visions in Progress (CVIP). Applications are open until March 13, 2025. This grant provides an excellent opportunity for communities to invest in their downtown areas and support local economic growth.
Program Objectives
The grant aims to:
- Acquire, rehabilitate, or construct buildings in designated downtown areas across the state.
- Facilitate community revitalization by encouraging private investment, creating or retaining jobs, establishing or expanding viable businesses, and strengthening the local tax base.
Local Impact and Opportunities
Previously, this grant has played a pivotal role in funding the ongoing renovations of the HIRVI Building in downtown Chiloquin. CVIP is seeking downtown Chiloquin business owners interested in applying for the upcoming grant cycle. This is an excellent chance to make meaningful improvements to your property while contributing to the revitalization of our community.
